Top seed Andrey Rublev will try to win his second ATP Tour title of the season this week at the San Diego Open, where the Russian will face a stacked field.

The field is so strong that former World No. 1 Andy Murray and former World No. 4 Kei Nishikori, both unseeded, will meet in the first round. The winner will play second seed Casper Ruud, who has lifted four tour-level trophies in 2021.

Canadian stars Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov are seeded third and fourth, respectively. Other players to keep an eye on are #NextGenATP Americans Sebastian Korda and Brandon Nakashima.
